Creating content that only meets the needs of one major audience segment not only alienates the rest of your audience but limits your ability to reach and connect with global markets. It can also limit your revenue potential as you only engage part of your total audience. Audiences with hearing or visual impairments, disabilities or who speak another language are not only deserving of getting access to content, but they now expect to have unfettered, high-quality user experiences just like everyone else. Gone are the early days of audio descriptions that are flat and robotic. Or dubbing in other languages with errors and lost authenticity. In this presentation, Victoria Dickson, Product Manager at Veritone, will outline how with AI, ironically, the media and broadcast industry can bring a more humanistic quality to content for everyone, making your content more inclusive and engaging for all while creating new opportunities to generate revenue from a broader audience.
