NEXTGEN TV is becoming a reality in many places. Some benefits are well known, but change is fast. This presentation showcases the latest innovations brought by Ateme’s TITAN transcoders, enabling enhanced experiences for everyone and ramped up revenue opportunities that work in ATSC 3.0 with a seamless transition from ATSC 1.0. Discover the enhanced sound experiences brought by immersive next-generation Dolby ATMOS audio, with enhanced audio accessibility features, including full-quality, multi-lingual audio descriptive services for the visually impaired and Voice + to increase intelligibility for the hard of hearing. And enhanced visual experiences with scalable immersive video, using dynamic ST 2094 HDR metadata such as Dolby Vision, Samsung HDR10+ and Advanced HDR by Technicolor SL-HDR1. Then, explore ramped-up revenue potential with personalized experiences and targeted advertising thanks to dynamic ad insertion. All these innovations are possible thanks to the greater function collapse enabled by the TITAN transcoders, with the addition of MVPD outputs to ATSC 1.0 and ATSC 3.0 formats. TITAN transcoders have already facilitated most of the ATSC 3.0 deployments across North America.
