A revolution is underway, driven by the connected car and the inclusion of big, bright displays on the vehicle dashboard. Listeners now expect audio services in the car to provide not just great audio, but text and image ancillary information known as metadata. Some radio broadcasters are heeding this call and providing great metadata, but more need to do so. In this session, a new report from the North American Broadcasters Association (NABA) will be introduced, containing valuable information on hybrid radio, metadata, and service providers who are helping broadcasters create a great metadata experience in the car. An expert panel will be present to discuss this report and provide additional information on this important topic.
