As Content Security Chief for BBC Studios, Alex Pickering provides worldwide direction, leadership and support for all content security matters including production, marketing, and final distribution. Alex, a former Chair of the Content Delivery and Security Association (CDSA), plays a key role in the strategic and operational risk management of information for BBC Studios. A Data Geek in a past life, he joined the commercial arm of the BBC in 2009 and looked after Privacy and Information Security matters before taking the reins on the security and protection of its content assets in 2018.
