Sonsteby, Jon

Jon Sonsteby is Managing Sales Director, North America Media at Intelsat,  the foundational architects of satellite technology which operates the world's most trusted satellite and terrestrial telecom network.     As Managing Sales Director, Jon and team work with some of the largest media content providers to seamlessly deliver their content around the world. 

Jon leverages his global media and entertainment industry experience in sales, business development, strategic partnerships, product management and engineering  to help organizations create long-term sustainable value, transform their business, enhance consumer lifestyles, and improve our world.

Jon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University; a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University; and holds an Executive MBA from Villanova University.   

He volunteers as a District Director for Tau Beta Pi (The Engineering Honor Society), working with undergraduate and graduate engineering honor students across all disciplines, and is a core team lead for Intelsat's Disaster Relief program which provides relief organizations space capacity and satellite terminals within 24 hours of a disaster anywhere in the world.
