Mark Swanson is a serial disruptor, co-founder, Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Vu Technologies. Over the last 30 years, he has founded eight successful startups - four of them venture-backed - with six exits, including an IPO. As an Internet video pioneer, he led the teams that created the first Software-as-a-Service application, the first use of Virtual Reality on the Internet, the first corporate video streaming, and the first integrated hardware/software cloud telephony offering. Mark started his career as an aviator in the United States Army, forming the first activating unit of Apache Helicopters. Mark's industry recognition includes two Inc. 500 Awards, two Business of the Year Awards, two Emmy Awards, Business Journal Entrepreneur of the Year, Ernst & Young International Entrepreneur Award, and the New York City Champions of Technology Award. Mark graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
