Dang, Niem

Niem Dang is Lead Solution Architect for Data Distribution as a Service (DDaaS) at Sinclair Broadcast Group.  She was responsible for the evolution and enablement of Advanced Emergency Information (AEI) service, content security, broadcast core network development, and spectrum sharing services over NextGen Broadcast. She is an active contributor at the ATSC Standard.

Niem has extensive experience in delivering interactive services through television infrastructure from her 15+ years in the cable industry and standards. She previously worked at Charter, SCTE/CableLabs, Time Warner Cable (now Charter) and Comcast.  Niem holds over thirty patents, a certificate from the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE)-Tuck Executive Leadership Program at Dartmouth College, Innovation Bootcamp by CableLabs, three SAFe certifications, a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, and a BS degree in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire.  

Niem currently lives in Baltimore City, enjoys strolling along the Inner Harbor, explores new coffee shops and bakeries, and create positive impact.
