Johnson, Erin
Erin Johnson has served as executive producer of Entertainment Tonight since June 2019.
She first joined CBS Media Ventures in 2014 as Director of Digital Video and Programming where she turned ET’s digital platform, ETonline.com, into the number one source for online entertainment news video. In that role, she oversaw strategic syndicated partnerships with the major digital portals as well as created and executed ET’s social media strategies. She also contributed to the digital video efforts for CMV’s other brands, including Rachael Ray and Inside Edition.
After successfully revitalizing ETonline.com, Johnson moved over to the broadcast team in September 2015 as a Senior Producer at ET and was quickly promoted to Co-Executive Producer in 2017. Johnson has won four Daytime Emmys for her work on ET.
Prior to CBS Media Ventures, Johnson was a Creative Director/Producer working on cross-platform marketing promotional campaigns for syndicated shows such as Ellen, Live with Kelly & Michael, The Dr. Oz Show, The Arsenio Hall Show, Katie, and Hot in Cleveland, as well as both the London and Sochi Olympics for NBC. Johnson started her career as a local news producer leading live breaking news coverage at stations in Dayton, Cincinnati and San Diego before making her way to Los Angeles.
Johnson has a degree in broadcast journalism and politics from Washington and Lee University in Virginia. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
