
Coles, Tony
Tony Coles has been President of iHeartMedia’s Black Information Network (BIN) and Division President of iHeartMedia’s Metro Division since 2020. Prior to his current role, he served as Executive Vice President of Programming for the company’s Western US markets from 2016-2020. During his 18 years at iHeartMedia, he has held several leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Programming for Alaska, Hawaii, and the Pacific Northwest, as well as Operations Manager of the Chicago region. Earlier in his career, Mr. Coles held programming leadership and management positions for a diverse array of formats and markets including New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, and Columbus, Ohio.
Over his distinguished media career, Mr. Coles has lead all aspects of marketing, revenue generation, strategic planning, and spearheaded groundbreaking content innovations and diversity initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Marylhurst University, and an MBA from the Western Governors University School of Business. He currently serves as the Vice Chair on the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America board of directors, as well as serving on the board for the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation, the Radio Advertising Bureau, and The Conclave.
