Granville, Geniece

Geniece Granville joined the Davis Broadcasting (DBI) team in June of 2010 and currently serves as the Vice President and General Manager of the Columbus Georgia market with day to day oversight of the 6 radio properties in the market. Prior to her current role she served as the Business Manager and In-house Counsel for Davis Broadcasting responsible for both the Columbus and Atlanta market’s accounts receivable, accounts payable, human resources, payroll, and internal legal affairs.  

Granville currently works with each department in Davis Broadcasting to help managers meet departmental goals, manage effectively and efficiency.  In continuing the legacy of DBI established in 1986, Geniece cultivates a work environment where information is shared, expectations are clear, and creative ideas are explored and acted on. By continuing DBI’s mission of “moving forward together”, Geniece requires that each radio station property remain a source of information and a catalyst for progress in the Columbus GA community. While maintaining top ratings and a loyal talented live on-air staff, under Granville’s leadership the Columbus market has continued to raise thousands of dollars for the surrounding community and host impactful annual events. Prior to Davis Broadcastings, Geniece Granville served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Fulton County District Attorney’s office. 

Geniece Granville is currently barred in the State of Georgia to practice law and remains active in her local community sitting on several local boards including the Pastoral Institute, Fourth Street Day Care Academy, the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and many others.  As a wife and mother of two Geniece places a priority on family and faith. Geniece Granville holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Spelman College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia.
