Luisa is COO + Co-Founder of Toonstar, the studio building the future of entertainment in Web3. Toonstar is reinventing how stories are created, experienced and shared, merging participatory storytelling and gamified fan interaction to produce hit IP. A self-professed tech nerd, Luisa leads the innovative team of creators and engineers at Toonstar bringing entertainment to the blockchain with proprietary Web3 production tech and enabling an unprecedented landscape of fan engagement.

In 2022, Luisa co-produced "The Gimmicks,” the first community-driven animated weekly NFT series produced in partnership with Sixth Wall, the digital arm of Mila Kunis’ Orchard Farm Productions. The series launched a new Web3-enabled category of interactive entertainment powered by advanced animation technology and diverse storytellers. With the success of “The Gimmicks,” Toonstar then launched a second installment of the series, “House of Chico” the first all Latino, adult-animated series in Web3.

​Prior to Toonstar, Luisa spent over a decade at Disney and Warner Bros. where she developed strategy across tentpole franchises, including Toy Story, Cars, Marvel and Disney Princess, launched digital platforms and drove innovation in digital content creation. At Toonstar, Luisa is on a mission to help forge the future of Web3 entertainment and unlock storytelling for creators around the world.
