Derrico, Joel

Joel Derrico is a Principal Engineer at Cox Communications. He is a recognized industry leader in the areas of video compression, processing and distribution. He is the chair of the SCTE digital program insertion (DPI) work group and an active contributor to the SCTE 35, 130 and 224 standards. Prior to joining Cox, Joel worked at Scientific-Atlanta, where he created several industry-defining products.
