Stuart is a recognized technical leader in the dynamic ad insertion, alternate content, and VOD/linear metadata management. He is widely respected as an energetic thought leader, both internally and externally, within the cable, broadcast and OTT sectors. He’s the technical lead behind the Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) Linear Rights Metadata Manager (LRM) product. CTS LRM is an unprecedented and market-leading product used by FOX Networks, NBCU, and others. He is an active member of the multi-Emmy Winning SCTE Digital Program Insertion (DPI) working group with expertise in standards efforts including SCTE standards 130, 35, and 224 (he authored its 2018 revision) as well as SCTE 250.

Stuart is currently a Distinguished Engineer within Comcast Technology Solutions’ Denver as a Principal Architect for CTS Live/Linear service offerings.  In addition, he is frequently requested to provide mentorship in SCTE 224 activities. Stuart has a PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science from Colorado School of Mines and joined ThisTech/Comcast in 2014, after serving in and retiring from the United States Air Force, as a Communications and Computer Officer.
