Bill Velez is a music licensing veteran of 50 years. He holds the distinction of having previously worked at music licensing agencies ASCAP, BMI and SESAC. For the past 15 years, he has been on the other side of the table with regard to music licensing issues, as Executive Director of the Radio Music License Committee (or RMLC). The RMLC is a non-profit that represents commercial radio stations in the U.S. with regard to music licensing matters. Bill is a graduate of Seton Hall Law School. He is an alumnus of Nashville’s Leadership Music program and has also taught as an adjunct at NYU and Belmont University.
