David Edwards has worked in leading technical developments that have impacted on the way many of us have viewed TV content over the past 2 decades – From the rollout of satellite HD TV by championing the rollout of MPEG-4 compression with DVB-S2 technology through to pioneering the use of private 5G networks for free-roaming wireless camera systems.

Alongside transmission technology, David has been leading Vislink’s AI-driven automated sports production systems to enable new opportunities to realize the pent-up demand for new sports content with high production values that meet the expectations of viewers brought up on a diet of high-spending tier 1 content.
