Currently, Gregg is Co-Vice Chair of the Producers Guild of America ‘New Media Council’; Executive Producer of MetaCities, which provides Metaverse-related production solutions and strategy advisement; Partner, at HOLOGATE, the world’s most successful immersive media company for location-based entertainment (16,000,000+ players to-date across 42 countries worldwide); Advisory Member, SXSW ‘Pitch’ and National Active Member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Emerging Media Programming Peer Group.
Previously, Gregg was Chief Strategist / Evangelist at Unofficial Cardboard, the pioneering and leading Google-Certified producer of ‘Google Cardboard VR’.
Prior to XR, Gregg was a leading visual effects studio owner/executive producer and one of the earliest adopters and producers of stereoscopic 3D in the early 2000s. Producer of the world’s very first high-definition 3D television broadcast (NBC’s ‘Medium’); Senior Stereoscopic Producer on X-Games 3D: The Movie; Executive Producer on Red Bull Media House’s first 3D production, ‘Rampage 3D’; Advisor on live 3D events: Academy Awards: Red Carpet Experience, Lollapalooza, Foo Fighters, Austin City Limits, Dave Matthews, and many others.
Gregg’s speaking engagements include: Immerse Global Summit/VRARA (Portugal, Miami), National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), Augmented World Expo (AWE), Consumer Electronic Show (CES), Game Developer’s Conference (GDC), SXSW, Mobile World Congress, SIGGRAPH, Central Florida Immersive Technology Summit, IBC Show | Amsterdam, Dubai Game Conference, Amusement Expo, Comic-Con, WonderCon, G2E-Global Game Expo, and many others.
In the area of education, Gregg is a member of the advisory council of the Cal State University Entertainment Alliance (CSUEA), which features industry executives in the leading media & entertainment organizations (Netflix, Disney, SAG/AFTRA, Sony, Univision, Amazon, NBC/Universal, and many others), advisory board member for CSULB’s Film and Electronic Arts, a featured speaker at numerous universities (Pepperdine, University of Texas, Loyola Marymount University, UCLA, USC, CSUN), and previously, instructor at Otis College of Art & Design teaching ‘Senior Portfolio’ and ‘Senior Seminar’ – “Preparation for a Career in Entertainment.”.
