
Boldt, Daniel
Daniel has over 18 years of experience with the development of Time Synchronization Products including IEEE 1588, NTP and Synchronous Ethernet.
He is one of the leading developers of the Modular Time Server Platform IMS and has been involved in C/C++ programming for embedded Linux and Windows. Since 8 years he is leading the software development team at Meinberg.
He provides Pre- and After Sales Support for customers projects in the broadcasting, finance, and telecom industry. Daniel has attended all major PTP plugfests and ISPCS conferences since 2007 to ensure interoperability of the Meinberg products with other PTP vendors.
Since 2016 Daniel also attended the AIMS and JT-NM Interoperability events during the standardization phase of SMPTE ST 2110.
Besides the topics related to software and PTP, Daniel is also giving training courses on PTP within the Meinberg Sync Academy.
Prior to his position at Meinberg he was a Software Developer for projects related to DVB Playout and IP Streaming at ZDF, German Television.
Daniel Boldt holds a Dipl.-Ing. (univ.) degree for Media Technology from The Technical University of Ilmenau, Germany.
