Malcolm Zale is the vice president of the SMPTE student chapter at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has worked extensively with traditional production technology and has been so excited by the emergence of Virtual Production techniques, and incredibly fortunate to be the director of photography for a number of student lead productions utilizing LED volumes. Working towards completion of a senior capstone project focusing on 3D asset capture using photogrammetry, and other scanning techniques; Malcolm has a passion for learning and understanding the evolving technologies that will continue to push the entertainment industry forward.
